What is difference between AI and Machine Learning
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are two prominent things in today’s world. World is moving ahead rapidly with these two buzzworld. AI and ML will defiantly change the way we work and we live. AI and ML are not the same things but many people get confused about its use.
AI is already in use by customer service applications, e-commerce ordering systems, self-driving vehicles and much more. In fact, AI is more like electricity than it is like mechanical looms, automobiles and airplanes. AI is system which perform the tasks with a great intelligence. Such intelligence can be compared with the intelligence of human and in some cases its more than human.
Machine Learning is a technique that design more intelligent computer systems. Machine learning enable the computer to ‘learn’ the necessary actions involved in processing a talk. This process involves using a large data set that the computer algorithm can repeat to learn through trial and error how to connect input data. Once this is learned, the algorithm can be used for getting great results. Machine learning, as others here have said, is a subset of AI. That is, all machine learning counts as AI, but not all AI counts as machine learning.
Hence, Machine Learning is a technology within the sphere of “Artificial Intelligence.”
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) go hand-in-hand with big data. To make really intelligent machines, you need huge amounts of data for them to learn from. Similarly, to understand huge amounts of data, you need the help of intelligent machines. Artificial Intelligence is the broader concept of machines being able to carry out tasks in a way that we would consider “smart”.And, Machine Learning is a current application of AI based around the idea that we should really just be able to give machines access to data and let them learn for themselves.
In my next article, I will discuss about deep learning.
